Second review on this recipe. Still OUTSTANDING, but I added beef broth for 1/2 the water, and double the wine. This is definitely not a dump and go recipe. The prep before you turn the crock pot on is more than 1/2 hour. I browned the beef in batches, then had to brown the onions, etc. However, it is definitely worth the time because once you turn it on, you're done for the day and you have a complete meal.
