I'm the mom of three kids now aged 7, 7 and 8. I cook regularly for my family of five. I consider cooking one of my hobbies as well as my regular duty. I'm alway interested in learning more and I regularly try out new recipes. I love homey foods made with pasta, stews, casseroles, and basic ingredients. I like to stay away from processed ingredients if I can. I don't like to use canned soup!!! My mother is a great cook. She is from a German/Scandanavian Yankee background, so some of the things that didn't appeal to me as a child, like sauerkraut, I LOVE now!
