These were good! My 3 year old son and I made these this afernoon and sent them over to a new neighbor. The streusel topping adds a bakery taste and look, and the apples are a nice addition to a favorite bread in this house...pumpkin spice. Thanks Jan!

Just took this to a barbecue and got rave reviews and everyone yummed it up. Left out the liqueur as we had lots of kids eating it. Looks pretty and tastes yummy and makes a nice big bowl. I used Sarah Lee's frozen pound cake and cheesecake pudding per other reviewers and did 2 layers of cake and berries with the custard on top. So easy to make! Thanks Iron Chef!

I used 1 cup butter as suggested by other reviewers and still had some dry cake mix that didn't melt after baking this. My guests thought it was yummy--the parts where the butter/cake mix did incorporate tasted like a brownie and the chocolate and cherry combo was good. Next time I would omit the walnuts--too many tastes going on. Not sure if I'd make this one again.
