My Son is a huge Potato soup fan and asks often that I make it for him. I have tried in the past with no success but he printed out several recipes and asked again. I chose this one for the "Bed and Breakfast" mention. I figured if they serve it to paying guests it should be good and boy was I right. This recipe is fantastic. It seems too simple but the flavor is great. The entire family loved it. I changed nothing and feel no reason to do so in future attempts. serve it with the sour cream bacon and cheese on top just like a loaded baked potato.

Thank You Dana! Great recipe my first attempt at making an apple pie yesterday turned out perfectly thanks in part to the lovely crust. I know this is a basic pie crust recipe but the additional instructions re cold are necessary to create this heavenly crust.

I love apple pie but had never baked one until yesterday. Can I just say Holy Moly! This is the best pie I have ever tasted. The smell was enticing the look was beautiful (I used the flaky butter pie crust from this site) the flavoring perfect. I used Gentlemen Jack on my pie, I had recently received a gift pack of JD and had an option of three types of whiskey (to me this one smelled smoother). Every one in the house was eager to try it and would not leave it alone (Test Pie). Even my sis-in-law who usually bakes for T-Day said they'll never ask her to bake again. Really and truly an awesome recipe Thanks so much for sharing.

These were very tasty. They presented well too. I chose to use only half the soy as suggested from others, it worked great and I do believe anymore would have been overpowering.

Hands down the best tri tip marinade ever. I will not use any other in the future. My husband likes to slow cook the large cuts of Tri Tip with an indirect heat method (oh my!!)so so tender and flavorful. We used or favorite rub last time we cooked and it was good but not great, nothing compared to the results you get from this recipe. Thanks!!

These turn out very tasty. Easy to make but a little oily so let thm sit on a towel a minute before serving.

Oh my! This one is a keeper. I had to make it twice because I couldn't believe it. The meat is soooo moist and tender - make extra because it is even better the day after and makes great sandwich meat.

Made this last christmas, beautiful presentation so much color to add to the table. I am only giving it 3 stars because of the pepper, it was overwhelming. I must add though that I could taste the potential this recipe has and am so confident in it that I am making them again this Christmas of course with much less pepper. I believe it will be a five star.
