Alyson's Broccoli Salad

Addictively delicious! I subbed Craisins for icky raisins which turned out great and used red wine vinegar instead of white wine vinegar. Only had it set for about 45 minutes before serving and it was great - not too raw tasting and not soggy. My husband LOVED it and said he'd be happy if I served this with every meal :)

Salisbury Steak

Really, really goooood! Reminded me so much of the tv dinners that were my favorite as a kid :) My husband wasn't thrilled at the idea but he ended up loving the meal. I served it with a green salad with balsamic dressing.

Pretty good, not what I was expecting based on the raving reviews. Gets an extra star for how quick and easy these were to make.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2011
Excellent! I made several changes based on other reviews, and then I chose to top the pie with a walnut crumb topping. I mixed the apples in the hot pan with sauce before adding it to 2 pie crusts. 8 apples was plenty for 2 pies. I also added cinnamon and freshly grated nutmeg to the mix.

Pretty tasty and much better than I expected from the ingredients. My husband really enjoyed this and it's so simple that I'm sure I'll make this fairly often. Thanks for sharing!

Pork Tenderloin with Creamy Dijon Sauce

Great recipe, very tender and yummy. Nice oniony flavor - a little watery, maybe my tenderloins were extra juicy. Will definitely make again!

Apricot Brown Sugar Ham

Pretty tasty. Probably as good and very similar to a pineapple brown sugar glazed ham. Like some others, I too had to cook mine much longer as it was still cold in the middle!

Mom's Best Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: May 24, 2011
easy and delicious! I've used raw peanuts in the past which are nice, but I prefer using roasted/salted peanuts and stir them in after the sugar is at least at 280 degrees or they'll burn. :)

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

I made the recipe as written and they are flat and lose the criss cross pattern. They do not look like a traditional peanut butter cookie.

Amazing Chicken

Super easy and super delicious! If you put the mayo on too thick, the crumbs don't get crispy.

Good for You Greek Salad

This was delicious. I left out the kalamata olives because they were really expensive. The cheapest jar I found was on sale for $5.99. Without the olives I thought this was great!

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Scaled it down to 6 servings which was great for dressing a Greek salad of 1 English cucumber, 3 tomatoes and a little onion and feta.

Original Hot Brown

Wowzer, this was delicious! I made it for lunch before watching the Kentucky Derby. My husband loved it too - rich but worth it once a year. I used about 50% more cheese than called for and use super ripe tomatoes that I sliced pretty thick.

Traditional Hot Cross Buns

Best yeast anything I've ever made! These are simply delicious. I omitted the all spice and raisins so I used twice as many currants. Sooo delicious hot out of the oven with butter and salt. I can't wait to have these with our Easter dinner tomorrow with the frosting!

Quick And Easy Mexican Chicken

Very quick and easy, as the title states, but not enough flavor gets into the chicken. The chicken was actually bland even though the seasonings and salsa were flavorful.
