I live in a rural county. I love to cook and bake. My husband and I are empty nesters now. My stepsons are in college. Cooking for the 2 of us can be a challenge but I don't like to eat out alot. Cookies are my favorite. I usually only do this at Christmas time now. We don't eat a lot of sweets so it sort of makes it special. I like to come up with new things for dinner but don't really have a favorite. I made some baklava last year for Christmas & it went really well so I'd like to keep that as a tradition. Cookies are always a tradition with me but I do it by myself. My uncle can't wait for Christmas because I always send my signature oatmeal cookies to him. Oatmeal cookies, Shrimp Alfredo, Enchiladas, Walnut pillows. Bread though I'm determined to master that.
