Easy, tasty 'comfort food'! Like others, used broth - 2cups, v.s. water. Also Italian sausage & left on the casing(pers. choice). Optional: Stir in a little of your favorite frozen veggies. Also great as leftover. Just make a little more. This from a 'novice, retired guy cook'!

Orig. recipe came out great as listed! Can't understand why someone w/make this so difficult to do/understand & time consuming as in a recent lenghtly post. I'm a guy who is not brand new to cooking, but still consider myself a novice. I *do*, sometimes playaround w/the orig. recipe, but that is at my own risk. Sometimes it better to MY taste, somtimes not, but you gotta like this recipe! Almost all of the other reviews of this recipe have been helpful. I find the "simple" recipes & reviews to be the best - Quick, easy, & tastful.
