About this Cook
I am an avid cooker although there are many things I still need to learn about the culinary world.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite thing to cook would have to be cakes. My whole mouth is full of sweet teeth! But I also love to cook meals. There is nothing more relaxing to me than whipping up a hearty soup when it is cold outside or a quick stir-fry when it's too hot to cook. I just like good food and it's even better if I can make it for my family and friends.
My favorite family cooking traditions
One of my favorite memories is the sweet smell of Plantains as they were being fried by my grandmother in Philippines. Now as an adult, I try to evoke those childhood feelings by making traditional filipino recipes.

Easy Shake and Bake Chicken
Simple and Delicious. Used boneless skinless chicken breast instead and modified spices to the ones I had in my pantry at the time, a little bit of Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and seasoned salt with the flour and it was a hit! My husband loved it!

Tropical Baked Bananas
Yummy! I didn't have any cloves, but I did have some brown sugar, a bit of Vanilla extract and a spalsh of orange juice. I added these 3 ingredients to a pan of a bit of melted butter and it was sooo good! I didn't have any banana's but I did have some very ripe plantains and it was just as delicious!
