Salmon Patties I

I follow the recipe as stated, but I do "roll" the patties in panko (Japanese bread crumbs) before I cook them. It gives them an extra crisp - love it!

American-Italian Pasta Salad

I tried this recipe with ham instead of salami, and it was delicious. I loved the creamy sauce instead of the oily sauce other pasta salads have, and the chunked ham blended in nicely. I think salami would work just as nice, but the ham caught my eye at the grocery store. Just be sure to not cook the pasta too long - sitting overnight in that sauce softens it up even more. Keeping this one in the recipe box at home!

Delicious Shrimp Dip

This was my first shot at making shrimp dip, and it turned out rather well. I took other reviewers advice and cut down the mayonnaise, the worcestershire, and traded in some of the salt for garlic or onion powder instead. I used fresh parsley and frozen shrimp too. I would definitely add more shrimp than what is called for - otherwise you don't get meat in each bite. I hate rating a recipe I changed so much, but this is definitely a keeper!

Stuffed Green Peppers I

My husband loved this recipe. Neither of us had really had stuffed peppers before, so this was the perfect simple recipe. This will stay in our recipe box from now on and we'll play with the ingredients more in the future.

Banana Crumb Muffins

The muffins ended up with a gaping hole in the middle, which would have been ok if they made up for it in taste - but they didn't. The topping liquified and ran all over the pan and I ended up throwing away most of the muffins. I might play with this recipe again, but I wasn't impressed this first time making them.

Simple Savory Pork Roast

We didn't have fresh rosemary, so we used the dried rosemary and added olive oil to make a paste. The pork smelled very strong while cooking, and I ended up having to wipe a lot of the seasonings off before eating it. Good taste, but a little too much of a good thing. After tinkering with it a bit we'll definitely make this again.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

I used cream of potato soup, Lipton Beefy Onion soup mix and threw in onions, carrots, potatoes and celery. The texture was great, the taste was good, but the gravy was really thin. I had to add flour to try to thicken it up, but after that it was great. Made the whole house smell wonderful! I will definitely make this again.

A Good Easy Garlic Chicken

A simple, yet delicious recipe! I read previous reviews before making it, so I skipped the onion powder and used diced onions instead. At first it seemed like too much butter, but after flipping the chicken once and adding the onions it worked out perfectly. This makes a delicious meal when combined with rice and steam vegetables!
