I am an accountant who has a passion for food. I cook to de-stress and show my family and friends how much I love them. I became a vegetarian five years ago. As a food lover, becoming a vegetarian was a challenge. I think my cooking skills have vastly improved because of it though. I have tasted and cooked exoctic meals and I have had to learn to make vegetarian meals that please non-vegetarians.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook warm, rich flavors. I am always on the lookout for recipes that combine strong and unique flavors and textures.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I am no longer able to enjoy most of my family's traditional recipes since I became a vegetarian. However, I am working hard to create vegetarian recipes that will become new traditions for my family.

Eggs! I will argue that plain eggs are one of the most difficult things to cook. I can make them how I like them, but find it trying to make them well any other way.
