Easy Baked Ham

This was a great holiday ham recipe. It was moist and tender and had great flavor. I left the leftover ham in the gingerale bath in the fridge and it continued to be delicious. Thanks for sharing!

Fettuccine with Sweet Pepper-Cayenne Sauce

Very flavorful and easy recipe. I added some chicken but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. It was QUITE spicy, but we like heat. I like the combination of chicken broth and low fat sour cream for the pasta sauce. A nice change from red pasta sauces, and definitely healthier and more flavorful than traditional alfredo sauces. Thanks for a great recipe.

Peaches and Cream Pie II

Oh my goodness, this was DELICIOUS! I think I could have eaten the whole thing myself in one setting... but some how I managed to restrain myself, lol. The crust tastes like a pecan shortbread cookie and is absolutely fantastic. I used two packages of cream cheese in that layer, but that was the only change I made to the original recipe. The whole thing just comes together so well and is absolutely one of the best desserts I have made in a LONG time. Thank you so much for a great recipe!

Easy Pie Crust

I have avoided making pie crusts for many years because I could never get it right. They were too much effort and always turned out tough. But I gave this recipe a try and I am absolutely ecstatic to have found such an easy recipe that turned out so well! It was tender, flaky and flavorful! My crust was for a quiche and I used olive oil as another reviewer here suggested. It turned out fantastic. This is a keeper for sure and I am saying goodbye to Pillsbury crusts! Thank you so much for a great recipe that will definitely save me time and money in the kitchen. An update on my original review - I healthied this recipe up a bit by using 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour plus 1 cup of white flour and it turned out great.

Green Beans With Walnuts

Very delicious and easy. Be sure to take the time to toast the walnuts. It really enhances their flavor and adds a whole new dimension to otherwise boring green beans. I also couldn't resist adding a couple of cloves of finely minced garlic and it was a positive addition (if you're a garlic lover).

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Wonderful recipe! I made this exactly as the recipe called for, except I had two tenderloins in the crockpot, so about 4 lbs. total pork. The meat was very tender and moist and the broth was so flavorful. I served the broth over jasmine rice and it was delicious. Leftovers the next day were even better. Thanks for a great recipe.

Cranberry Bars

Very easy and a great way to use up that leftover Thanksgiving cranberry sauce that nobody touched! I ad libbed a little (it is in no way a reflection on the original recipe, it's just what I do...). I added about a cup of ground pecans to the dough. On top of the cranberry layer I added a handful of white chocolate chips (would have liked to add a few more but someone had broken into the bag and a handful was all that was left!), and I also added about a cup of shredded coconut before adding the top layer of dough. Delicious and festive cookies that I am looking forward to serving at our Christmas party tomorrow night! Thanks for a great recipe.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Very good, quick and easy for a weeknight supper. I added a couple of diced carrots and also threw in a handful of grated sharp cheddar cheese before serving. This is a hearty and satisfying soup.

Chicken Chili Soup

Very tasty. I used chicken stock for the base (instead of water), white kidney beans (cannelini)instead of red, and also threw in a couple of fresh diced tomatoes instead of the tomato sauce and added a 4 oz. can of diced green chilis. Served it over crushed tortilla chips with a dollup of sour cream and a sprinkling of shredded cheddar over the top. Delish!

Asparagus Supreme

Great recipe that is very versatile. I used fresh asparagus, regular diced onion instead of green onion, celery soup instead of mushroom soup and light sour cream instead of mayonnaise. I also used an entire red pepper (diced) and probably two cups of fresh mushrooms. I combined and sauteed all the veggies together with the chicken rather than layering them separately, and piled the whole conglomerate over the rice. Also thinned the sauce down with water. It was yummy!

The Aztec Five-Step

This was very good, however I scaled down the number as well as the quantity of ingredients and made some major modifications in order to make this a little less time consuming to prepare. Instead of chicken, I used fully-cooked chicken sausage w/spinach and asiago cheese. Since the sausage had spinach in it I omitted this from the ingredient list. I used chicken broth instead of water, and I used diced tomatoes instead of whole. I did not puree the tomatoes in a food processor. I used tortilla chips instead of corn tortillas, and I also added a dollop of sour cream to the finished dish. I served this to 4 picky teens and they all had seconds!

Nanny's Goulash

Very good, and a quick and easy weeknight supper. I added a couple cloves of fresh minced garlic, and also added around 3/4 of a cup of sour cream in the last few minutes. Served it over rice and it was delicious! Thanks for a great recipe.

Bow Tie Tuna Florentine

This was very good and also very easy. I only used 2 cans of tuna, and my roma tomatoes were pretty big so I only used 2 of them as well. I bought the Knorr's Creamy Pesto sauce mix. It all came together very well and I would definitely make it again.

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

This was delicious! The meat melted in your mouth, and the sauce was very flavorful. I used red and orange bell peppers to add color, and also added a chopped zucchini. I served it over jasmine rice. Everyone had seconds!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Easy and tasty recipe! I pre-cooked and shredded the chicken breasts and added them with the rest of the ingredients at the start, so no need to do it later. I also added a couple tablespoons of chopped, fresh cilantro. Served it over tortilla chips with sour cream and cheese on top. It was a hit with the whole family. Will definitely make this one again.

Prize Winning Baby Back Ribs

This is a great recipe. The ribs come out tasty and tender without having to bake them in the oven beforehand like a lot of "grilled" rib recipes call for. Be sure to use a quality bbq sauce for the basting in the last 5 minutes. We like KC Masterpiece.
