These were absolutely delicious. I was curious to find out how ginger was going to taste with the varied list of other spices, but the whole combination was delicious and actually left me craving it for dinner. Substituted plain yogurt for the sour cream which was the perfect accompaniment.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

It's good and all, but it's still made from canned soup when you get right down to it. I used one can each of cream of mushroom with garlic and golden mushroom, along with the dry onion soup mix. Admittedly super easy, and definitely tasty, but I think the five stars comes from convenience. I think the onion mix may have given it somewhat of a "processed" or "funky" flavor. Seems like you could easily add some real ingredients to make it even better.

Summer Pineapple Fluff

As a chef, I don't know if I should admit to thoroughly enjoying this recipe. It tastes nothing like it sounds, meaning it is fabulous. Seriously, give this a try - the whole bowl was gone - enjoyed by even the skeptics. Love it!

Nime Chow (Raw Spring Rolls)

I lived in Hawaii and ate a ton of these at my favorite restaurant. Thanks to another reviewer for the sauce idea. Also, aren't "raw" spring rolls essentially "summer" rolls? Spring are fried, summer are fresh, I think? Otherwise, it makes it sound like you're eating raw shrimp or chicken. Though, there is nothing quite like a good beef tartare!

Kingfish Enchiladas

This recipe was delicious. And, I don't know what ASIMPSON7 is talking about in their review. Why is it hard to understand where the calories come from? There's oil, there's salad dressing, there's cheese, plus the fish and tortillas. You learn something new every day, I suppose. Yes, that pizza you've been enjoying all of these years, it HAS calories!

Christmas Eve Salad

If you try to eat this salad before it sits overnight, you will be disappointed. All of the flavors separate out, and it will taste as strange as it sounds. BUT, if you let it sit overnight, it is awesome! Everything melds, and the marshmallows sort of lose their shape and make the salad very "fluffy". It is SUPER good! Even some of my vegan friends tried a bite for kicks!
