I've been happily married to my husband Jeff, since '96. I'm a stay at home mom to two kids, Gabrielle ('98) and Alec ('04). They like to help me cook in the kitchen when I'm making cookies or muffins :-). My daughter tells me she is an expert egg cracker. ;-) My son always makes sure everything is mixed, very, very, very well! (Which isn't always good for the muffins!) I like to cook desserts, muffins, quick (yeast free) breads and cookies. I do like cooking dinner every night, just because I tend to like my cooking best. ;-) Every year we make and decorate Christmas cookies. We do other baking together throughout the year, but that is my favorite. Before my husband and I got married we were both living at home and neither one of us could cook. Our moms did that. ;-) Once we were married, I agreed to learn how to cook, if he would clean the kitchen. It was a deal! Went from only knowing how to make Hamburger Helper, after calling my mom, to knowing how to cook *almost* anything! Haven't had to clean the kitchen after dinner for over 10 years now, hehe! Anything with yeast or phyllo dough is guaranteed to be a tragedy. If I could master those, I would be an expert cook!
