Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

This is a winner!!! Scaled it down to 10 servings and shook all the ingredients at one time in a mason jar...easy! The oil/vinegar ratio is perfect as it is...I wouldn't change a thing!

Awesome recipe! Halved the recipe starting with frozen chicken, and boiled it on the stove, covered, for an hour! Yum!! Served it over brown rice. Will definitely make again!!

Pepperoni Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2011
Excellent recipe! I made the dough as is, except I added a little dried basil and dried oregano to the dough. I know there are a lot of reviewers that cut the amount of sugar, but I kept the sugar measurement as written...I like the sweetness of the dough contrasted with the salty pepperoni. I also added some shredded mozzarella to the pepperoni before I rolled it up. Prior to baking, I brushed each roll with a butter/olive oil mixture and coated each roll with a mix of fennel and caraway seeds. Gobbled them up with ranch dressing on the side. Delicious!

Double Orange Scones

LOVED this recipe! Used 1 cup of frozen cranberries instead of the chopped oranges....beautiful! This was my first time making scones, and I was surprised at how fast easy it was...SO proud of myself! I will definitely use this recipe to experiment with different flavors!

Seattle Dutch Babies

I've never eaten one of these before, but it wasn't bad. It tastes like french toast to me. It puffed up like crazy...that was fun to see! I'm at high altitude, and it was still puffy. I wish I read the reviews beforehand...the pancake was in the oven at 375 for 10 minutes, then I read the reviews while I was waiting, and then cranked up the heat to 425 for another 10 minutes. It was puffy and brown and beautiful. Added powdered sugar and real maple syrup on top at the end, but overall, a little too egg-y for me.

Master Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2011
Fantastic recipe! I made the dough with the intention of using up some leftovers in the fridge. I added a little dried oregano and basil to the dough and a big pinch of sugar. The hand kneading is essential. I transferred the dough to a greased bowl, put a towel over it, and put it in a warm place for an hour. It rose to twice its original size after an hour, and then I pressed it into a greased 9x13 cookie sheet. I added a dijon/honey spread to the bread, and then added chopped ham and swiss cheese. I rolled it up and baked it at 500 degrees for 30 minutes (half of the time covered with foil, last half without foil), and it was perfection!! The dough is SO versatile!! Have fun with it!!

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2010
AWESOME recipe!! Of course, I made a few changes because I can't stand to follow a recipe without changing it to be my own! :) I used spelt flour instead of AP flour to bump the nutrition and fiber. I used 3 cups of zucchini instead of 2 cups. I cut the sugar to 2 cups, but will cut it even more next time. Lastly, instead of 1 cup oil, I used 1/2 cup of olive oil and 1/2 cup of greek yogurt. This bread was SO yummy! I will definitely be making this again! Thanks for the recipe!

Loved this recipe!! The only changes I made was adding the lemon zest from 3 lemons and used Splenda in place of the granulated sugar. Added some powdered sugar when it was completely cooled. Delicious!!

Best Ever Pie Crust

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2009
This was my second time making this recipe, and I think it turned out really well. I used half shortening, and half butter, and the crust came out really flaky and buttery. The first time I used all butter, and I think it came out tasty, but not flaky enough. This was a good balance, but next time, I'll try to follow the recipe exactly to see what happens. Still trying to perfect my technique, but I'm getting there! Thanks for the recipe, I'll definitely use it again!!

Raspberry Pie I

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2009
LOVED this recipe!! It was the first fruit pie I ever made, and it turned out delicious! I used the "Best ever Pie Crust" recipe (my second time....still working on it), and it really turned out great! I used fresh raspberries, and Splenda instead of sugar (only one cup). I didn't need the extra water, I just rinsed the raspberries with water, and the mixture seemed wet enough. No runny pie! I even forgot the butter accidently, and it still was fantastic. Will definitely use this recipe again and again!!

Grandma's Corn Pudding

LOVE this recipe!! It such an easy and inexpensive side dish and great for holidays, too. I actually leave out the sugar entirely and it's still super sweet because of the sugar that is added to the canned corn and creamed corn.
