Cheese and Bacon Potato Rounds
These were edible but the taste fell flat. I added salt, sour cream and even a dash of hot sauce but the flavor just wasn't there. Something is missing but I'm not sure what. I won't make them again since there are many good potato skin recipes out there that are yummier.

Refreshing Spaghetti Squash and Cucumber Salad
This seemed like a different and interesting way to prepare spaghetti squash. I served it for company. It was NOT a hit. The flavor was okay but most people did not care for the cold spaghetti squash. I also found it to be too heavy on the lemon flavor. I think adding feta cheese could improve it but overall, I don't think I'll make this again. It was a lot of work and not worth it plus what waste of expensive kalamata olives! You'd be better off making a standard mediterranean salad than making this salad and it really doesn't look very good.

Venison Tequila Chili
This recipe was very good. I pretty much followed it as written but did make the following changes: 1. I used fresh jalapeno instead of red pepper flakes and sauteed them with the onion & celery. 2. I added more chili powder, plus used cumin, coriander, and cayenne pepper. 3. I omitted the orange juice. Other reviewers have said that this lends a nice flavor but I don't think orange juice has any place in chili. The end result was quite tasty. I didn't even need to add sour cream to my bowl (a chili staple). In fact, the sour cream ruined it for me which is testimony to how tasty this chili is on its own. My only complaint is that it was too runny. Next time, I will pull back on the sauce or add more meat. Otherwise, this is definitely a keeper and I will make it again.
