Yes, it is alot of work, but the results are impressive. It took me 2 batches of broken stars to take heed of a previous reviewers suggestion of using parchment paper. After that change, making the cookies was a breeze. A few of my stars were renegades and became slightly mis-shapen. To correct that, I made a pointsetta looking cookie by placing the top cookie slightly askewed from the bottom one and dusted with powdered sugar.

Pebber Nodder (Danish Christmas Cookies)

Fabulous little delights. Even people who never heard of cardamon, loved the taste of these morsels. They definitely have a great shelf life as well. I had one tray of baked pebber nodder sitting out uncovered for 2 days, and they tasted as fresh as if they just came out of the oven. Great cookie.

Mocha Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Fabulous taste. I used mini chocolate chips and 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract with 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla. To make the recipe a little more healthiere I used 1/2 cup applesauce to replace one of the sticks of margarine. Also added 2 teaspoons of ground flax seed, which doesn't effect the flavor on way or the other. This will now be my favorite banana muffin recipe. Can't wait to pass it on to others.

Pork Chop Dinner

I definitely will be making this many more times. The pork becomes so tender, just the way I like it. I had to make a few adjustments due to lack of provisions in my pantry. I substituted jar Italian sauce for can sauce, and used fresh mushrooms in place of canned. This made the mushrooms a bit chewy, but still delicious. I served this recipe with a side of couscous. Thanks for creating!

Curried Cauliflower

This recipe was absolutely delicious. To make a little less fattening, I used 1/2 cup of Hellman's Light mayo and 1/4 cup of no fat plain yogurt. I think I will go 50/50 on that combo next time to make even lighter. I mixed half cauliflower, half broccoli. Used regular saltine crackers for toping. Can't wait to pass this recipe on to friends and family. Thanks!

Spinach Cheese Manicotti

Great recipe. I made mucho changes because I didn't have all the required ingredients. Substituted Romano Cheese for the Parmesian. Used canned spinach instead of frozen. Added a handful of currents and a little pignoli nuts for some crunch factor. Instead of tomato sauce, I used Ragu Alfredo Sauce. I also cut up small and fried in olive oil some mushrooms to add into the mixture. Lastly, I didn't have manicotti shells on hand, so I used jumbo shells instead. All these flavors came together deliciously, thanks to the basic recipe's foundation. This one is a keeper for sure.

Irish Soda Bread Cookies

What a unique concept! Easy to make. If you manage to keep them around for more than a day, they taste even better. I pride myself on being a cookie lover, and this is now one of my favorites. Can't wait to make them as gifts for family and friends. Used various cookie cutters instead of triangles and squares. This recipe would be wasted to use only for Saint Patrick's Day. Thanks much.
