My cooking triumphs
Finding the marshmallow fondant recipe on this site. I truly am disgusted in the marketed fondant in stores. Now all my cookies look instantly beautiful.
My cooking tragedies
Well, it was actually mu husbands. After a long day at work, he had his mouth set on some fried chicken. (I don't like to fry) He decided to fry him some chicken. Well when you're not focusing on cooking and talking at the same time, mishaps happen. He battered the fried chicken in powdered sugar and attempted to fry them. He still get why he had a black and sticky mess and lots of smoke. I just don't get it. I have always been able to tell the difference out of a container the difference between powdered sugar and flour. He wasn't to happy.

Fluffy Pancakes
Delicious! Doubled the ingredients, substituted apple cider vinegar for the white vinegar, added fresh blueberries, added vanilla extract and just a tad bit more milk. No one could get enough. No syrup needed. Very fluffy, 1/2 inch thick. **For those who have issues with a rating of 5 stars on a recipe that I changed, let me explain something. Even though I changed the recipe to my liking, it was a great base recipe to begin with. I know what I like and don't like and will tweek to my liking. Its about preference. Maybe you just aren't there yet. Take it or leave it**
