Baked Pork Spring Rolls

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
These are the best ever, much more like empress rolls. No need to fry, bakes crisp and easy. Freezes well too! Use water and cornstarch mixed and dip your fingers in it then wet the edges just before you roll each wrapper.

I skipped the celery and used leftover deli Italian style ham slices cut into bits and it turned out lovely.

Scalloped Potatoes and Pork Chops

My boyfriend loves it! The wet ingredients do tend to separate (curdled looking and greasy but it tastes fine). I now use cream and only add the cheese on top which looks and tastes nicer.

Brunch Scones

No need for egg wash. Turns out great with white chocolate bits and chopped dried cranberries, or diced apple with cinnamon. Even add cocoa and chocolate chips! Have with homemade clotted cream (1 part yogurt + 2 parts heavy cream and let sit for 12 hrs covered at room temp).

This is the best pasta salad dressing ever! SKIP the added sugar, add chopped green onion and red pepper, add shredded cheese of your choice... Yum!

Beer and Brown Sugar Steak Marinade

This brings out the true steak flavor. Used HP steak sauce instead of teriyaki and it turned out phenomenal!
