High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

This really does turn an inexpensive roast into a gourmet dinner. Make some Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes whilst the meat rests and you have a meal to please just about everyone.

Creamy Rice Pudding

I made this with rice milk, no butter and it turned out creamy and delicious. As someone on a fairly restricted diet it is wonderful to have some comfort food. Thanks for a recipe I'll make again.

Love this and keep making more. I use cashews instead of pecans and add mixed seeds such as pumkin and flax as well as soy nuts. As other reviewers have done I skipped the oil and used applesauce and increased the honey.

Flax and Sunflower Seed Bread

Gooseberry Pie II

I'm very proud of my single gooseberry bush which yields enough berries for 1 pie. The pressure is on for a good recipe and this one was great, creamy but not too sweet. We'll try it again next year.

Chickpea Macaroni Salad

This is a really good salad. I had no olives so used some roasted red peppers and it was delicious. A nice change from the "over mayo'ed" macaroni salads.

Easy Mexican Casserole

I made this with veggie ground hamburger and served it at a party. I kept it warm in a slow cooker and had sides of sour cream and chips. A big hit-even the meat eaters loved it and were unaware they were eating vegetarian.

Easy Chocolate Banana Cake

Not being the best cake maker in the world, I found this easy and successful. I used a coffee/chocolate icing and it was lovely, especially the next day.

Spinach and Cheese Stuffed Pasta Shells

Great success at our house. My daughter wasn't too keen on the fennel seeds but the adults loved the flavour. I plan on a double batch for a party dish, make now and freeze.

Suki's Spinach and Feta Pasta

This is a truely wonderful pasta recipe. It is easy, quick and absolutely delicious. I'm not too fond of over creamy sauces on pasta so this one is perfect for me. Super as per recipe but also a good base for many alternatives.

Mom's Best Waffles

I've just hosted a brunch and made these waffles. They all disappeared before I could even taste one! I was told they were the best waffles ever and asked for the recipe. I'm giving 5 stars on trust and promise to make them again to try them.

Coconut Lentil Soup

I really liked the flavour of this. Making as per recipe the lentils are not as "soupy" as I would like so I added about a cup of veggie chiken stock to thin out the mixture.

Mixed Vegetable Casserole

I love this recipe and have made this dish often. I do use frozen vegetables not tinned as I prefer the flavour. Nobody can believe how simple it is to make.
