Best Ever Pie Crust

you think it's going to be too greasy, but after refrigerating it, and using flour to roll it out, it turns out prefect. Don't give up

Awwwwwwwesooooome. I made this for my roommates tonight and we loved it. The said it was better than this pie restaurant that we love. :) I think next time I will cook the crust longer before I put the pie filling in so it doesn't get soggy on the bottom.

Thin Mint Crackers

I thought these were great! I used regular Ritz, and I thought maybe next time I would use low sodium ritz because you could taste that salt, but it actually tasted terrific, sweet and salty, even if it wasn't exactly like a thin mint

I agree with one of the reviews that it's really best as a filling, not all over frosting, but honestly...I just didn't like how it tasted!

Simple Scones

Blackberry Pie IV

This was a great recipe but it too way longer to cook than it says, and I would add more sugar next time- I used rozen berries and it was very tart. Great texture though and really good with ice cream!

Strawberry Pie II

It didn't set! I wouldn't want to add more cornstarch though because it would be too much... maybe I did something wrong. It tasted good, and I ate it anyway, but I was dissapointed

Creamy Hot Chocolate

I aggree with some of the other reviews- it was a bit sludgy on the bottom, however I will be using this as my staple hot chocolate recipe. It tastes great!

Light and Fluffy Spinach Quiche

I didn't rate this because I changed it so much it's not the same recipe. I used pilsbury crecent roll dough for the crust and it made it too rich- I peeled the crust off of it and it was soooo good. I used half reduced fat cheddar, half part skim mozzarella and part reduced fat feta. MMMMM Also added a clove of garlic and used plain yogurt instead of mayo. I didn't add that extra egg, but I will next time. It also took a long time to cook but I think that's because I didn't cut the spinach small enough. ANYWAY, a GREAT recipe. loved it

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

A GREAT way to make these EXTRA fluffy is by seperating the egg white and whipping it to stiff peaks and then gently folding it in last.

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

This pie tastes soooo good! I too thought it was really tart, but I like that. Some of the people who ate it didn't though, so I would probably use only one lemon next time as well. My lemons were not big either. Also, used 3 egg yolks instead of 4 like someone suggested, and even after refridgeration, it still didn't completely firm up. It was pretty soft and a little fragile. Maybe it was because I didn't use that 4th egg yolk, or maybe it just needs more cornstarch or something.
