Me and by picky husband
About this Cook
I have been living with the pickiest man on the planet for 5 years. His son is unfortunately taking after him. I came from a home where anything was game, now I am stuck with Beef or chicken. It gets boring so I try to find ways to spice it up.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook chicken because it's healthy. I haven't quite mastered fish yet but am still trying. Hubby doens't like it so I can only cook it when he's not here, which is never. I like to cook vegetables also. I love veggies and anyway you can make them interesting.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We are Pennsylvania German/Dutch on my mothers side. Every year on New Years Day she makes pork loin, mashed potatoes, fried cabbage, and sauerkraut. I look forward to it all year long.
My cooking triumphs
Getting my husband to try something new and having him like it. I have now added 5 different ways to cook chicken, other than frying it, to our menu.
My cooking tragedies
I made tuna steaks. Never again.

California Sherry Chicken
This was very flavorful, quick, easy and healthy! I took the advice of making more sauce but maybe I used the wrong kind of pan because I couldn't get it to reduce enough to used over the chicken. The only complaint my boys had was there was zuchini on the chicken, I made them eat it anyway. :-)
