Purple Plum Pie
I was VERY skeptical when I first made this pie, but I had a pile of plums in my freezer to use up. I love it, it has such a great balance of tart and sweet with a great custard like filling. My eldest son who isn't a huge fan of pie or dessert asked me to make a second one this weekend and so for the second time this weekend in the oven is baking Purple Plum Pie #2.
