Cajun Chicken Pasta
I followed everyones advice and added more cajun spice plus fresh garlic & more basil too. Since I don't like the crunch of onions and peppers (and the kids don't either)I sauteed them in the butter then added the chicken (used 3 chicken breasts)to that mixture. I also used half cream/half milk and brought it to a boil to thicken it. More mushrooms too. I thought it was very tasty and so did my oldest son (although he added cayenne pepper to his). My youngest son wasn't crazy for it and my husband thought it was okay (and he spiced it up with habanero pepper) but he's not fond of cream sauces and would have preferred it if it had a tomato sauce base. Once again can't please them all!!! :)
