Jennifer's Granola
It seems that most reviews that appear at this site are really ADAPTATIONS of recipes. I find very few reviews that reflect the recipes exactly as they are presented, so let me state that I made this granola with no adaptations or substitutions. Having said that, I think this granola tastes good, but it is soggy, and what disappointed me most is the fact that the granola doesn't hold together in clumps. It is very loose and is best eaten with a spoon. The taste is good, but I wish it were more like the store-bought granola that is so readily available.

Cheese Pennies
This recipe sounded good, but the result was a disaster!! The butter makes them far too greasy, and the taste of the onion soup mix is OVERPOWERING. I ended up throwing the whole batch into the trash. Don't waste your time on this.

Scrumptious Sweet Potato Casserole
This recipe is GREAT, but I cut back drastically on the white sugar and on the brown sugar topping. I converted the recipe to metric and scaled it for 12 people. Given that, the recipe called for 175 grams of sugar; I used only 40 grams and it was just right. As for the topping, I just add a light sprinkle of the brown sugar-and-butter mixture over the top of the casserole before baking, just enough to flavor it, and I omit the pecans all together. This is always a big hit whenever I serve it to my friends here in Iceland.
