My favorite things to cook
I love to make something with what ever I have in the refrigerator. I take an inventory, go to Allrecipes.com get some ideas and throw it together. What is fun about it is that it is never the same, and 95% of the time it tastes great!!

Sweet Potato and Carrot Soup with Cardamom
We really liked this soup. It has some good spice. I am interested to try a creamy version and add coconut milk. We will make this one again.

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken
We loved this recipe! I did make some changes. I used mild curry paste to cut down the spice (my wife is breast feeding our new born) and I substituted some of the butter with olive oil. We used the left over sauce over the chicken on a bed of rice. A few days later I cooked the chicken in the left over sauce and added some mixed veggies and served over rice. It was great. I will make this one again and again!
