Gourmet Mushroom Risotto

Adult Party Punch

I used regular vodka instead of vanilla flavored. So not as sweet as other reviewers stated. Big hit at my family reunion and barbecue.

I think this cake is o.k. Everyone I have ever served it to, thinks it is the best strawberry cake ever. I frost the entire thing, not just the sides with cream cheese frosting. Otherwise follow the recipe exactly. Of course the sweeter & juicier the berries the better the cake.

Salmon Fillets with Creamy Dill

This is the best salmon recipe I have found yet. I used frozen salmon fillets and I only used about 1/2 the mayo, however it does absorb into the fish somewhat during cooking. My husband actually asked for more sauce so he could pour it over his veggies.4 stars instead of 5 because the sauce isn't very healthy.

Dutch Apple Pie with Oatmeal Streusel

Made this for family Christmas dinner and everyone loved it. Personally thought it tasted a little doughy. I used half Granny Smith & 1/2 Rome apples, and frozen pie crust from grocery store. Overall very tasty. Next time I will decrease amount of flour in filling.

Red Velvet Cake IV

Four stars are for the icing, because I didn't use the cake recipe. I use my grandma's red velvet cake recipe that has been tried and true for decades,and is a little different from this one. I made it for Christmas last year and have gotten several requests to make it again this year. I usually make my RV cake with plain cream cheese frosting which is still very good. But I never got as many compliments as when I used the white chocolate cream cheese frosting from this recipe.

Classic Spanish Sangria

I make this for any party or large get togther we have. It gets rave reviews and I don't have to spend most of my time mixing cocktails. I have also subbed peach schnapps for the rum, peach nectar for the OJ, and white wine for the red, to make a white peach sangria. It also got raves.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

These rolled out and baked up nicely. However, the flavor was very bland. I'll stick with the cream cheese sugar cookie from this site. They taste great, but are difficult to roll.

Flourless Chocolate Cake II

A chocoholic's dream dessert. I ate it at room temperture with whipped cream. I did not adjust the recipe at all and it turned out great.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

I added extra parmasean cheese to cut down on the cream cheese flavor. This was extremely simple and easy to make. I tossed it with sauteed shrimp, broccoli, and penne pasta. Tasted great!

Jamaica Cake

This is very similar to a hummingbird layer cake my aunt makes. Since this is made in the sheet cake pan, it's much easier. I frosted the top with cream cheese icing. My family loved it.

Garden Veggie Pizza Squares

Diana's Hawaiian Bread Rolls

This dough came out way to sticky to be able to work with. I had to add a lot more flour so it could be rolled and shaped. In the end the flavor was bland and just strange(pobably the lemon flavoring). These do not taste anything like the hawaiian rolls you get at the supermarket.
