These were AMAZING! I skipped the braising (I was too lazy) and added about 1/2 cup of diced celery. I didn't bother with the basting. Just poured all the sauce over them, covered and cooked for 2 hours, uncovered and cooked for another hour. This is my new favorite recipe!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

These are delicious! I used 1 cup whole wheat flour and 1 cup white. I also used 2 entire eggs. Turned out perfectly!

Asian Lettuce Wraps

I used this as a rough idea just to follow. All I had were Romain Hearts, so we used those. They worked perfectly. I lift out the water chestnuts. Added celery and cabbage, used a mixture of what I had on hand for the seasoning/spices. Turned out AMAZING! I will for sure be making them again.

Sugar Cookies

These are SO delicious and easy! I love that you don't have to refrigerated them if you are doing them as drop cookies. I did make one change, and used all butter, not shortening. Turned out perfect. This is going to be my go to Sugar Cookie recipe from now on!

Wow! These are DELISH! I'm just enjoying a couple warm outta the oven right now. I left the nuts out, and added a tsp of vanilla. Perfect delicate texture.

Pineapple Banana Bread

Sandy's Chocolate Cake

This cake is super delish amazing! I wish I could give it more stars. Only change I made was I added 1 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips. I also didn't make the frosting, because I decorated this cake like a pig. Amazing cake! Will for sure make again.

Turkey Thighs in Brown Sauce

This was really good. Used the basic idea and added my own twist. I used dried minced onion instead of fresh, and entire can of cream of chicken soup, left out the sherry, and placed my turkey piece on top of the sauce. I seasoned the turkey with salt and garlic and poultry seasoning, and roasted it uncovered. Super delish, and made a fantastic gravy.

Poppy Seed Bread with Glaze

Didn't use the butter extract. Added the rind from one orange. Used about 1/4 cup of undiluted orange juice concentrate and topped it up in a measuring cup with milk to make 1.5 cups. I didn't make the glaze. Turned out great!

Buttercream Icing

This icing was perfect! I doubled it and used Wilton Gel Decorating colours with it. I also added some almost extract becasue it was an almost cake I was icing. Delicious and easy to use.

White Almond Wedding Cake

This cake ROCKED! Gotta say, I was kinda weirded out about adding flour and sugar to a cake mix, but it totally worked! I made it into a Rainbow Cake using lots of food coloring and decorated at like a Butterfly. Super easy and great flavor. I will for sure make this again!

Creamy Shell Pasta Salad

I only made the dressing, and did my own thing for the salad. Turned out great! Only changed I made were I used garlic rice wine vinegar becasue I didn't have the red wine vinegar, and I added a dollop of sour cream for a little extra tang. Yummy!

Traditional Osso Buco

This was really good. I used Venison shanks instead of Veal. Also, used Red and White wine becasue I didn't have enough of either one. Very delish!

Rhubarb Cake I

This was DELISH! I also increased the rhubarb to 3 cups, and I'm glad I did. I added 1 tsp Apple Pie Spice to the cake, and used that in the topping instead of plain cinnamon. Next time I might at a little oatmeal and flour to the topping. I didn't would rather it have a crumbly topping then a caramely one.

BLT Wraps

These were super yummy! I added chicken breast, which I cooked in the bacon fat (I know! BAD!) and sliced avocado. I also added some hellmans mayo. Delish!
