About this Cook
I began cooking as a child. My Dad was a fabulous cook. He cooked in some of the best restaurants but in those days did not earn enough so turned to other things but I believe he always regretted it. I too cooked professionally and LOVED every minute of it!
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook are things that make people happy.Especially something I create that they have never tasted before.Or a dish Mom or Grandma made that they have been longing for!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Growing up Sunday dinner was always the best meal of the week. My Father cooked it and often family or friends were invited.I often think of the great food, laughter and spirited conversations fondly!
My cooking triumphs
I have amazed myself by cooking a first class gourmet dinner for 100 people by myself!
My cooking tragedies
I am afraid (AFRAID!)to experiment even with Yeast Breads! I am sure I will fail!

Cherry Pie III
This was the best looking Cherry Pie I have ever made! Everything about the recipe was fabulous except... It was much too sweet! Not certain if it was my fault or the Recipes yet. Proceed with caution for now.

Honey Pork Oriental
I`ve made this dish w/variations for years with success! Cubed pork steak is a better and cheaper option. I use fresh garlic and ginger when I have it. I leave vinegar and some times honey out. Carrots are also an option. (I hate cooked carrots!) Different color peppers add eye appeal. If you enjoy spice, add some. Add additional ingredients you enjoy. There is no excuse for no taste in this recipe! Add what you like, play w/it a bit, it is versatile!
