Belgian Waffles

We bought a waffle maker at Costco (never go to costco hungry) so this was our first time making them. Delicious and easy. It is time consuming though so probably would make the batter the night before if wanting to eat early. Will definitly be using this recipe with our new waffle maker. :-)

Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus

Yum! Big hit at my x-mas party. They were gone in minutes. Made with chive onion cream cheese as others suggested and blanched the asparagus.

Penne with Spicy Vodka Tomato Cream Sauce

My daughter said a five and hubby said 4 so it actually scored a 4.5. It's very good but not my favorite on the site so made it a 4. My daughter doesn't eat sausage so made it with ground italian style turkey. Maybe with the italian sausage it would of been a 5.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Very yummy! My daughter said it is now her favorite fish recipe and that's saying a lot since I've tried many recipes on this site. I might just add a little of old bay's seasoning to the fish next time to give it an extra kick. My family wants me to make it again tonight!

The recipes was very good and easy. I didn't realize I didn't have seasoned salt until I started getting the seasoning together so just used some regular salt & paprika. I will definitely be making again & making sure I have seasoned salt.

Lentil and Sausage Soup

Good recipe. I did add pasta, sea shells since that's all I had, and it did absorb quite a bit of the broth which made it really thick. I'll probably leave out next time, and yes there will be a next time. :-)

Crispy Orange Beef

Made this with chicken instead of beef but followed the rest as noted. I liked it better than the family did. If I were to make it again, not sure if I would add the orange zest, or probably a little less.

Seasoned Turkey Burgers

I have to start out by saying I'm usually a red meat person. I tried this recipe since my daughter has sworn off red meat. I wasn't crazy about it. It was just ok. I think the onion soup overpowered the flavor and it ended up tasting a little on the salty side. I won't be using this recipe in the future.

Quick and Easy Clam Chowder

YUM YUM YUM. The entire family loved it! Added some red potatoes, sauted onions & celery to thicken it up. This is restaurant quality. They're already asking me to make it again this weekend, and simple! perfect.

Chicken with Asparagus and Roasted Red Peppers

Very very good. The only change I had to make was used canned diced red tomatoes instead of roma since I was out, and used 2 garlic cloves since we love garlic. I added in recipe box in March 2006 and finally made it today. Can't believe I waited this long for such a gread dish!

Sea Bass Cuban Style

Oh my goodness, sooo good. Family couldn't stop raving. Daughter, 18, said she could eat it every night. It was fabulous. Will definitely be making again, SOON! Only change was used home grown tomatoes from brother's garden, big beef & something else, not roma. Favorite fish dish now!
