Sour Cream Biscuits

I was looking for a delicious biscuit recipe. This is it! I didn't have lemon-lime soda in the house, so I used Club soda instead and added a little Splenda. I didn't feel like rolling them out, so I just dropped them on parchment paper. Mmmmm good! So light and moist. Thanks LaDonna.

Peanut Butter Heaven

This is a tasty recipe! I liked the heartiness of the bar. The oatmeal and the peanut butter made a great combination. I also found them to be too thick. I had to cook them about 40 min. Next time I will bake it in a jelly roll so that it will not be too thick. Delicious!

Oatmeal Pancakes II

I tried this recipe when I had overnight guests staying with me. We all enjoyed them. I wished that I had doubled the recipes as it only made 9 medium sized pancakes. One guest said they had such a full bodied flavor. I couldn't agree more. I will definitely make these again and again.

French Toast Casserole

Mmmmmmm! This was delicious! I also added chopped pecans to the mixture before I poured it over the bread and put a few more on top. I cut down on the sugar by substituting Splenda for the sugar that was mixed into the egg mixture. I still used the sugar on the top to get the crunchiness. I will make this often.

Cookie Press Shortbread

This cookie is delicious! I've made it twice in the last week for Christmas gatherings and gifts. They are so light and buttery. This is defintely a keeper. I don't have a cookie press. I used an accent decorator by Pampered chef. It worked like a charm. I did not change a thing in the recipe. I don't know what people did that resulted in a "floury" cookie. May be they didn't measure their dry goods acurately. They are so quick to whip up. Thanks Heather!

Black Pepper Beef and Cabbage Stir Fry

Wow was this easy and good. This will be one of my regular recipes. I used peanut oil to stirfry, and added onions and seasoned salt. I think that I will increase the cornstarch to 1 Tablespoon next time. So delicious!

Chicken Rotini Stovetop Casserole

Delicious! This was such a tasty recipe. I did tweak a few things. I doubled the parmesean cheese and added salt, red pepper flakes and 3 cloves of garlic. I used 1/2 cup of fresh basil instead of dried basil.

Bran Muffins II

Delicious! I have a fresh baked muffin every morning! I love that! I used All Bran cereal buds instead of flakes, substituted whole wheat flour for half of the all-purpose and added a couple tablespoons more milk to compensate. I used a combination of sugar and Splenda to bring the sugar content down (I'm a diabetic). They turned out great. I tink that I'll add walnuts to my muffin tomorrow!

Double Chocolate Biscotti

This is an excellent recipe! I made it 3 times during the holidays. Very rich flavor. I used white chocolate chips, and only 1/4 of the amount that the recipe called for. I didn't want them to be too sweet. MMMmmmm good! I will make this recipe often. This cookie keeps well.

I was looking for a checca recipe to eat (without the pasta) on focaccia bread. This was delicious. I reduced the oils and added a little Splenda sweetner to sweeten the tomatoes. It was excellent! I plan on making this recipe often.

Grandma Johnson's Scones

Wow! This is a great scone recipe. I put pecans into the dough. They were oh so good. Because they are so potent, I made them smaller. I like to eat them as desert with vanilla ice cream.
