Blueberry Crumb Pie

My husband said this was the best blueberry pie he has ever had (and he's had many!) I added a little extra flour with the berries since some of them were not completely defrosted. Thanks for a great recipe!

Strawberry Jam

I haven't tasted my results yet, but they look great in the jars! It did take quite a while for it to get from 215 to 220 and also for the water to boil for the water bath. However, the process was pretty simple, just takes time!

Thai Burgers

I was looking for a recipe to use some of the lemon grass from my herb garden. These burgers were even better than I expected! I used ground turkey and some crushed red pepper flakes instead of fresh, but otherwise followed recipe exactly. We topped them with garlic herb cheese and some chili sauce. Yum!!

Cream Cheese Frosting II

This frosting was a hit! The amount was perfect for the chocolate layer cake I made. I used the suggestion of adding an additional cup of powdered sugar, as well as some extra vanilla. Also, I added some cocoa powder to a small amount of the frosting to use as the filling for the cake. I brought it to work for a coworker's birthday and everyone loved it!

Peachy Moist Muffins

Applesauce Muffin Mix

We are moving in a few weeks, so I was looking for a muffin I could make with what was left in my pantry. I had to make a few adjustments based on what I had: We didn't have eggs, so added some sour cream. I also used Smart Balance oil in place of the butter. I threw in a tsp of flax seed, a tbs of wheat germ and a handful of dried apple pieces. I reduced the recipe and made 5 muffins- they were delicious! Thanks for this versatile recipe. I can't wait to make it again (as written this time!)

Incredibly Cheesy Turkey Meatloaf

Oatmeal Whole Wheat Quick Bread

Easy Granola Bars

Chicken Breasts With Herb Basting Sauce

A great basic chicken recipe. With just 2 of us in the house, I like to bake 4 or 5 chicken breasts, have some for dinner and then use the leftovers for meals the next day (soup, quesadillas, etc). Thanks for a great standby!
