Lana's Sweet and Sour Meatballs

VERY tasty...I cut the meatball recipe in half and used the same amount of sauce without cutting that part in half and it was just enough sauce. Would even double the sauce next time and still only use 1 lb. of ground beef. Didn't add the drained pineapple as husband wouldn't have liked it and just served the pineapple as a side dish. Hubby said he could eat these meatballs every night!

Roasted Squash Soup

Worth the time. Fun to roast squash and the aroma can't be beat. Not everyone would like this soup but I enjoyed it very much, as I love curry, etc.

Buckeye Balls II

This is THE recipe...YUM! The only thing I needed to do was double the chocolate chips/shortening part for the dipping. Didn't seem to have enough but I also came up with more little balls. YUM!

Meatball Cookies

YUM! My husband devoured these and he doesn't like sweets. I only made half the glaze recipe and used 1 cup chocolate chips instead of 1 cup of nuts. Dough very easy to handle!

Chewy Peanut Butter Brownies

Just terrific!!! Made some today after work for my high school girls group at church! They polished them off and my hubby tried one and asked that I make them again tonight after church so I made two batches in one night! He wanted to bring them to his work so he'd be a star! Like using recipes that call for margarine (even though I'd much rather bake with butter) because in my area, margarine is TONS cheaper! YUM!!!!

I INADVERTENTLY used rye flour instead (OOPS!) and these came out fantastic anyway! I was going to make whoopie pies out of them by connecting two cookies with cream cheese frosting but I opted for just frosting one at a time. Great recipe!

Cranberry Apple Bread

Did I do something wrong?? I followed the directions and came out with batter that didn't have enough liquid...crumbly dry. Tried to press it into my bread pan and bake but didn't rise like bread or anything!! Had to throw it out..maybe I did something wrong, though.

Best Ever Corn Muffins

Mmmmmm, I think that vanilla extract was the yummy ingredient! These are so sweet, you could just slather them with butter and skip the honey! I did get twelve muffins with a bit of batter left over.

Italian Wedding Soup I

This soup was DIVINE! It doubled nicely and I also added celery! Wanted to try it with the lower fat chicken broth but that wasn't on sale so it was quite rich but worth it!
