Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

These were absolutely DECADENT! I used a chocolate cake mix and also froze the dough balls overnight with no problem. I can't wait to make them again!

Golden Crescent Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2009
These are OUT OF THIS WORLD! My husband thought for SURE they were the brand name crescent rolls you pop out of a can! For the reviewer that said they don't taste anything like croissants, that's because there is a difference between croissants and crescent rolls. This is not a recipe for croissants. Enjoy! Dough will not appear to have risen at all during each rising but they turn out perfectly!

These were really good and baked up beautifully! I didn't have any white chips so skipped them but can imagine that would have made this a FIVE star recipe!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2008
These are very good and VERY big! I rarely stray from my standby big chocolate chip cookie recipe but had to use up an egg yolk and this was a very good, bakery-type chocolate chip cookie!

I made this for someone who has a milk allergy in the family and it was really good! Moist and I didn't miss the milk! I halved this recipe and made two 9 inch cakes.

Pancakes I

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2008
I thought these were VERY tasty, almost "pastry-like" for lack of a better word. They were well received by all! I should mention that I doubled the recipe but kept the milk at about 1 1/2 cups after doubling and the batter was plenty thin.

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2008
I used regular all purpose flour and it seemed to work fine. I took the suggestion of adding some seasonings to the oil and also brushing the crust with some garlic powder and olive oil. I think I overdid it on the seasonings, though. All in all, this was a good crust that was easy to work with but I think I'm still on the hunt for the perfect homemade crust.

Chewy Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2008
These are definitely chewy! They are good but didn't rate them a five because they are just not QUITE as chocolatety as I would like. I think a 4.5 would be a good rating!

Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
This was very good crust! I was pleased with how easy it was to handle. I let it rise about a half hour in an oiled bowl. I prebaked it about 5-7 minutes. I made it in a 15x10x1 jelly roll pan.

Gingerbread Boy Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2007
Yummy! At first the dough seemed too much like batter, so I added about 1/3 C flour and it was perfect. After chilling for a couple hours as the recipe stated, the dough was very easy to work with. Instead of sprinkling flour to help keep the dough from sticking, use powdered sugar!

Whoopie Pies VII

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2007
I thought these turned out great! I liked this recipe because it didn't use shortening or butter in the cookie part. I used my own filling recipe: 1/3 C butter, softened, 3 C powdered sugar, 1 t vanilla, 1-2 T milk. Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and enough milk to reach desired consistency. I also tinted the filling orange and will use these for a fall themed bridal shower. Very yummy!

This was excellent and here's how I adapted it to make one 9x5 loaf. 1 1/2 C flour, 1/2 t salt, 1/2 t soda, 1/2 t powder, 1 1/2 t cinnamon, 2 eggs, 1/2 C oil, 1/2 C brown sugar, 1/2 C + 1/8 C white sugar, 1 1/2 t vanilla, 1 C grated zucchini and a handful of chocolate chips. YUMMMYYYYYYY!!!! I was VERY impressed!

Easy Broccoli Quiche

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2007
I made this twice and made changes to improve the second time I made it. First of all, the cook time should be quite a bit longer....it should bake for about 45 minutes to an hour. Cook until the top is medium golden brown. Also, I increased the eggs by one and decreased the cream by 1/2 C. This helped it not be so liquid-y. All in all, this is a GREAT recipe and the second time, I used a colby jack cheese which was VERY yummy! Seems like this recipe is very versatile and good quiche recipes can be hard to find!

Belles Hamburger Buns

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2007
Easy? Yes, with a dough hook on a stand mixer. Tasty? Yes, though I had trouble getting the top to brown and the bottom not to burn, even after following the instructions regarding the oven racks. Also, my buns were sort of flat and slightly dense but I've never been one to have luck with yeast breads. I might try this recipe again, as the imperfections could be my fault.
