I cook for my family of 4. I love to cook lasagne--it was the first thing I ever made that was GOOD. I love to make lasagne--I have a cookbook I bought from my sister's school and it has a great lasagne recipe in it. I've modified it over the years and have added wine to it for a little better flavor on the sauce. I also love to make oven fried chicken...it's healthier than conventional fried chicken. My favorite cooking tradition would have to be Thanksgiving. I'm usually the first one up. I go in, make the stuffing, clean the bird, stuff it and then go join the rest of the family for parade watching. Periodically throughout the day I'll baste the bird with olive oil. The first turkey I ever made for my husband was a success...it cooked in 4 12 hours and we had so much left over, we were eating for weeks!! Sugar cookies are not meant to be hard!!
