I am a wife and mother of two. I have recently changed my outlook on food and have completely revamped my menu system. I now view food as fuel for the body, so it should be healthy. Having said that, that doesn't mean that it can't be delicious. I admire Martha Stewart in every way. I love to entertain. I love to cook. I love to bring family and friends together.
My favorite things to cook
Vegetarian cuisine, Mexican, Italian, Desserts and brunch recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We are a very out-of-the-box family and do not have many family food traditions other than sugar cookies and eggnog around the Christmas season.
My cooking triumphs
Working with phyllo is a very stressful thing for me and I was proud of myself when the mini phyllo cups turned out perfectly. Phyllo actually drove me to drinking one afternoon. Fondant, too. Fondant is a skill that should be celebrated by everyone!
My cooking tragedies
I made very a very delicate and time consuming Halloween treat called Boo! cups. My brother dropped them. Needless to say, I cried.
