About this Cook
I come from a "suburb" of New Orleans called Kenner. I lived in a little town called Houma for about 10 years before moving to Nashville, TN. The traditions I have found in southern Louisiana run deeper than some in New Orleans. I am extremely proud of my southern heritage and cooking is a way for me to express that.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook Cajun food of course, but in addition to, I like to cook pretty much anything but desserts. I have very little patience that is required to make some desserts.
My cooking triumphs
Perfecting my Gumbo recipe!!!!
My cooking tragedies
I tried to cook hamburgers late one night without a pan thinking they would look grilled....yes I am blonde.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs
A-Mazing! I have made this quite a few times, but I don't always make kabobs. I grill using whole chicken breasts, then slice and use for salads. The ideas are endless! Oh, I prefer making ranch dressing using the packets just because I think it tastes better than bottled. If you can do this, I think it improves the taste of the marinade so much better. It's not necessary though :) Thanks for an awesome recipe!

Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken
This was a great, easy recipe. I cooked as some others had suggested by cooking for about 20-25 minutes then broiling for the last 5. I also seasoned the chicken with Cajun seasoning I had on hand, but if you season before adding the other ingredients you just have to watch the salt. Overall, good and kid-friendly!

Italian Chips
Easy and wonderful. I would just add more seasoning and cheese. Also followed other reviewers on the change in time.
