About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
The easier, the better. But, I'm a big meat and potatoes (or rice or pasta) kind of guy. I also love broccoli.

Chicken with Bouillon
I've had this in my recipe box for almost exactly a year and last night was the first time I made it. It just sounded too simple. Plus, my wife is on a low sodium diet and sodium free bouillon isn't always easy to find. I'm glad I finally tried it, though. It merits 4 stars on taste alone. The fifth star is for the utter simplicity of this ultra-moist, spoon tender (yes, I used a spoon to cut it for my two-year-old), very flavorable dish. I serve mine with rice and made gravy from the leftover butter and bouillon. We will be having this again SOON.

Swiss Turkey Tenderloin Strips
Maybe I didn't cook the sauce long enough or maybe it's that neither my wife nor I have a taste for wine, but we found this to be nearing horrible. I was so excited when I found this recipe and had very high hopes for it. Alas, the sauce completely overpowered the turkey and I ended up having to cook another meal because nobody would eat this. I'm not usually one for leaving a bad review, but this dish really left an impression on us.

Pork Chops with Raspberry Sauce
My wife absolutely loves this recipe. She's never been the fan of raspberry that I am, but this dish has made her a believer. We have it at least once every two weeks. To make it easier to prepare, I pre-mixed the seasonings in a shaker. It's a wonderful mixture on any pork recipe. I use it for my roast pork tenderloin.
