I noticed many people complaining that the recipe was too bland, so to prevent a bad turnout, I added garlic salt, italian seasoning and basil into the mayo. I rarely measure spices such as the above and instead just use my eyes to judge. That was the only part of the recipe I changed. I was astonished by the results! I think it's physically impossible to get a recipe easier than this! The taste? Provided adequate spices are mixed in... A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Just as others have said, you don't even taste the mayonnaise. This simple and delicious recipe will definitely be a reoccurring meal in the future!

The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 was because the potatoes were cooked and had a great texture. However, the overall concoction was a horrible mess. I made this to go along with our Christmas dinner and needless to say it wasn't embraced at all. I even cut back on the butter as suggested and it still came out far too buttery. The cheese sauce was also too grainy even though I do know how to create a creamy cheese sauce, so I know it wasn't my doing in that aspect. All in all, I will not be making this dish again and hope to find one more suitable.

What a delightful recipe! I love recipes like these that are light yet so delicious you'd think it was a heavier meal than it really is. I certainly recommend!

I opted not to use the cereal, parmesan or paprika and it turned out just fine. This is one of those recipes you cannot live without. It proves to be the perfect last minute easy recipe that we all need once in a while. It's delicious and easy and is the perfect heart warming meal! 5 stars for sure.

This recipe is wonderful! I live in Holland and they do not sell vegetable oil like they do at home in America, so I had to use corn oil and it turned out perfectly. I used Braeburn apples since our choice of apples are not the same as they are in the states. I think using Braeburn apples was far better than the typical American apples I've grown up eating. This cake is even better the next day when kept in an air-tight container; it actually makes the cake more moist. I used the walnuts like it called for, but I made this again a week later and did not use them. I'm not a fan of nuts in recipes, but I think this recipe is perfect with the nuts but even better without them!! Simple ingredients, easy to make and absolutely delicious. I couldn't ask for any better! ***After consulting my neighbor who happens to have moved to Holland from Romania, she told me that this in it's traditional Romanian form does NOT involve walnuts at all. Just thought I'd pass that bit of information along.***

Absolutely, positively AMAZING! I would have never thought to use Rice Crispies as a coating, and the chicken was moist (my biggest fear about chicken)! My entire family just got done eating this a few minutes ago and we're all VERY satisfied! Thanks for a great recipe!

Two words.... ABSOLUTELY AMAAAAAAAAAAZING!!!!! Oh my gosh this recipe is awesome!! I HATE green bean casserole... well, until I tried this recipe that is!
