About this Cook
Recently married, trying to find good recipes that work for two busy people! I'm also the youngest and only girl in the family, and am expected to carry on all of the families traditional dishes. This includes Germand and Italian dishes.
My favorite things to cook
I love to Bake! I received many new cooking and baking items for my wedding, and I'm in heaven trying using them. :) My fathers favorite is marble cake, so I am trying to find the perfect recipe. I also try to make healthy balanced meals, so I can indulge in dessert without feeling guilty.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We are an Italian-German family. I am a master of the spagetti sauce, and wouldn't dare go out for Italian (mine is always much better!) We have an annual fig cookie day, where our family gets together to make 10lbs of cookies. Oh, and German spetzle is a family favorite.

Butter Flaky Pie Crust
Very tasty crust! I was using a more liquidy filling, and the bottom crust was a little soggy. I would par bake the bottom crust before putting the filling in next time. Great taste though! It's now my favorite crust.

Clone of a Cinnabon
Wonderful!!! Thanks to the person that put the directions for a non-bread machine way to make it.

Very bland. I would not make this again.
