Creamy Hot Chocolate

I made this today since we are in the middle of an ice storm/blizzard and the kids just came in from sledding. Just perfect!! Creamy, chocolaty and just the right amount of sweetness! This will be a permanent addition to my recipe collection!

Bread Pudding II

This has the consistency of yorkshire pudding and is not sweet at all. I should have known it would have no taste since the recipe didn't call for any spices such as cinnamon or cloves or nutmeg.

Grandmother's Oatmeal Cookies

These are so chewy and delicious. And the recipe made about 75 cookies. They stayed fresh in the cookie jar until they were gobbled up !! Truly a keeper in my permanent recipe box. Thanks for the recipe Sheryl!

No-Fuss Cinnamon Cheesecake

Delicious! I added a can of blackberry pie filling and it was great. The only problem I had was that the bottom layer of dough didn't get quite done enough. Next time I will add a few minutes to the baking time.

Very flavorful and not too hard to prepare. Keep an eye on your sauce as it tends to get lumpy if not whisked continuously. Well worth the effort!

Cinnamon Rice with Apples

A great twist on rice! Served this to my dinner guests and they loved it. So did my picky kids! I served this with baked chicken breast, salad, rolls and asparagus. Wonderful!
