Spicy Shrimp Creole

too saucy, needs the addition of sausage and possibly less tomato base. seems to be missing something. served with polenta which was decent. sort of a confused meal.

might add more garlic next time...also, used cider vinegar instead of malt vinegar and it turned out great!

Indian Chicken Curry (Murgh Kari)

Delicious! No garam masala, would use less oil next time (only used 3 thin chicken breasts, not 2 lbs)

My pan should have been hotter to make a less mushy burger, but the flavor was great.

Artichoke Chicken

This goes into the rotation for sure! Easy, no hassle meal that is husband approved. I followed previous reviews and did 1/2 lite mayo, 1/2 non-fat sour cream and also added a little extra garlic powder to the mix.

pretty good! I would add more veggies (carrots, squash, maybe even potato) next time to bulk it up, but the flavors were great!

Really good flavor, easy preparation. Served w/asparagus and a rice salad. Would like to heat the sauce a little before serving next time.

Yum!! Just what I was hoping it would be! My husband suggested adding sausage next time; worth trying! I still found it to be salty, though I used No Sodium broth (canned tomatoes are salty too).

Very nice and refreshing. I didn't add the oil, pickle or tomato. Might try adding pickle and tomato next time, but didn't miss the oil. Nice crunch to it.

Mushroom Chicken Piccata

I won't make it again. Corn starch is gross and makes everything yucky. I'll be looking for a new chicken piccata recipe that doesn't call for it.

Macaroni and Cheese with Veggie Bacon

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
I used this basic recipe, but omitted the veggie bacon and added mushrooms instead. I also halved the recipe and used 7 oz of smoked gouda and no cheddar. it was AWESOME. Next time, i'd like to try it with shrimp, bacon bits, and more mushroom.

Blackened Salmon Fillets

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
This was REALLY spicy...if i made it again, i would drastically cut the amount of cayenne. I drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with spice then broiled for about 6 minutes each size. I let it sit in the oven (with broiler off) for an additional 5 minutes (i like the salmon to be pretty well done). Good overall flavor.
