To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2006
I made these as is but filled a regular size muffin pan (made 12). There was plenty of the topping but I just loaded it on and no complaints here, everyone loved them! Thanks for posting it!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2006
This is a wonderful treat, my children loved the "chips" the best. It's worth the effort to make. I halved the salsa and doubled the chips. Thanks for sharing!

Double Chocolate Mocha Trifle

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2006
Make this...you will not be disappointed! Though I made some changes I would venture to say this is a 5 star recipes without any. My Changes: I used a chocolate cake instead of brownies, doubled the pudding, milk and cool whip and threw in an extra heath bar! To get a stronger mocha taste, if doubling the pudding, you could double the coffee as well. I'm not a big coffee fan so this was just perfect for me. I could probably eat it all too, good thing Bible Study was at my house this week!

Linda's Monster Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2005
These are FABULOUS! I substituted equal amounts of peanut butter for margarine, but I'm sure just butter would be wonderful as well. I used the pampered chef large scoop for the size and patted them down just a bit before baking...perfect! I didn't grease the cookie sheets because I used one of those Tupperware silicone wonder mats, worked great. I can't say enough about these cookies, I've been searching for the "staple" monster cookie recipe and quite pleased this is it! Thanks for posting it!

Chicken Tetrazzini for a Crowd

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2004
I make this one often. You can alter this many ways to your taste. I skip the mushrooms and pimento peppers, add onion powder, add a little milk sometimes depending on how many noodles I use, varies every time. I put frozen broccoli in and that was great, can put it in frozen. Fresh is great too if you have, be sure to steam first though. And the kids love it. Thanks Lois for a staple recipe in our house.

I've made this a number of times and it is ALWAYS a hit! It's so simple, make exactly as is says and you can't go wrong. Can make the night before too, I think it's even better the next day! Thanks for the quick and easy dessert.

Milk Tart

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2004
Very Good! I've never made a pie crust and this was nice and simple, it will turn out. Tastes like a sugar cookie, wonderful combination with the custard filling. I had friends from Kenya and India over for dinner and since they don't like very sweet desserts this was perfect, they all ate it up, even my "American" husband! Thanks for the recipe, a keeper for sure.

Applesauce Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2003
MAKE THESE! I had so much homemade applesauce I just had to try this recipe and they are wonderful! I used cream cheese frosting II, from this site, cut the recipe in half and still had plenty. These were fantastic! I love that it uses so little butter and I had all ingredients on hand. Use the pumpkin spice, nice Fall treat. Many compliments when served at a party, but no leftovers. This is a keeper, thanks Debbi!

Caramel Chocolate Corn

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2003
I'm a HUGE popcorn fan, usually eating it plain, but I had to try this variation to spice it up a bit and I was VERY PLEASED! Surprisingly I didn't care for the chocolate, I can never get it to melt just right. So I just skip that step and call it caramel corn! It's GREAT! I like it even better the next day when it has a chance to "sit" a bit. I used regular planters salted peanuts. Plus I always make the popcron on the stove with olive oil. Remove any kernels like another viewer suggested. I love this stuff!

Fruit Pizza I

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2003
This was a HIT! Loved it! Make the homemade cookie crust it's well worth it, you'll be glad you did! For fruit I simply used strawberries, blueberries and kiwi (the kiwi is a must). The first time I made this I used strawberry glaze and didn't care for it, it's not necessary on this dessert. It's fab with just the fruit. MAKE THIS YOU'LL LOVE IT! Thanks Anne.

Grandma Betty's Ice Cream Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2003
A MUST TRY!!! This is a simply FANTASTIC Dessert! I used graham crackers but either would be delicious. The key is letting this set long enough, least 2 hours. I did not and it was a little messy but no complaints, it was gone in no time! The kids loved it too! Thanks Lisa, this will be a fav in our house.
