This was the best! I halved this recipe because I didn't need so many muffins. Following some of the other suggestions, I did the following: Used 2/3 a 15 oz can of pumpkin, 1 egg and 1 TBS of water, 1 c. flour, I halved the baking powder, soda, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. On the spices, I used 1/2 tsp nutmeg, no allspice (didn't have any), and 1/2 tsp cloves. This method made 12 regular size muffins. Really moist and flavorful, just the right amount of spice. Definitely will make again.
