I'm a busy mom and wife. I love to cook, but hate to clean the kitchen. I work part-time so quick, easy meals are the ticket for me! Cookies, Mexican, comfort food, new twists on old favorites. My sisters and I would get together for a weekend before Christmas and bake cookies. Between the three of us, we would bake 5-7 dz. of up to 20+ different kinds of cookies. I hope to continue this (on a much smaller scale) with my own daughter when she is a bit older. Cooking holiday dinners for 20 people. Since moving to Colorado I have yet to make a decent cake - they taste okay, but they don't look too good! (Even following the high altitude directions)Luckily, my husband has much better luck.
