Cheapskate Stew

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2009
Fabulous....IMy only changes were Dill weed, chopped garlic, fresh basil, and topped each bowl with a dollip of sour cream/chives. I needed to use up some meat juice (from a roast)so I used this instead of water. Thanks for the recipe!

Salmon with Lemon and Dill

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2009
My family (not a seafood eating one) loved this....I prepared it in a frying pan flipping it once. I cooked it covered to retain the moisture and then at the end, removed the lid and let it blacken slightly. They loved the 'blackened' seasoning with the salmon!!!! Thanks for the recipe!!! (I also reduced the buttered and increased the lemon juice...to be healthier and use my lemons...I live in AZ with many, many citrus trees)

Holiday Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2008
I was trying to replicate the Costco "Sonoma Chicken Salad" and this one is pretty close. I added apples, grapes, and some pinneapple juice. I also substitued 1/2 of the mayo for plain yogurt -- to make it a little healthier. FABULOUS!!!!

Excellent and I made a few substitions. I used 1/2 teas Brandy extract and 1/2 teas vanilla extract instead of the brand and cherry extract. Whole family loved it!

Very easy...I made this for my son's birthday. There were many many skeptics in the crowd....mostly asking, "Is this finished?" YES... They LOVED the cake even though it looked a little bit unconventional.

Quick Chicken Cordon Bleu

We loved it...I didn't use the mayo. I was skepical about cooking chicken in the microwave. I didn't have a meat tenderizer, so I put the chicken in a ziplock and beat it with a hammer. This was very effective.
