Daria's Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

I marinated 4lbs beef/3 onions/6 cloves of pressed garlic/6 green peppers overnight in about 1/3 C soy sauce and 1 can of beef broth. I still used just 1 can soup; and added another can of beef broth into the slow cooker, no sour cream (I used a brick of cream cheese AFTER I shut the slow cooker off—you don’t want to slow cook the cream cheese – I used the low fat). I didn’t use any wine either…. I added flour as needed (probably 1/3 Cup).

Cheapskate Stew

Fabulous....IMy only changes were Dill weed, chopped garlic, fresh basil, and topped each bowl with a dollip of sour cream/chives. I needed to use up some meat juice (from a roast)so I used this instead of water. Thanks for the recipe!
