I'm retired and working in a second career as a high school Science teacher. Anything Mexican; homemade lasagna(the more, different cheeses the better!); homemade, 2-day seafood gumbo (only two of my grandchildren, and none of my kids like this, so I hardly ever get the opportunity to cook it). Southern New Year's Day dinner, including blackeye peas and ham hocks, cornbread, and all the mustard greens I can eat! I can whip up something delicious in no time, and without referring to a recipe, using whatever we have available. Every type of meat I cook on the grill ends up the same way! How would you like your steak? It only comes one way: third degree!
