Country Breakfast Casserole

I served this on Christmas morning, and we all enjoyed it. I honestly couldn't taste the gravy mix at all. I did offer hot sauce and diced green chili on the side for those who wanted added flavor. This is not my favorite breakfast casserole, but it was a nice one that I will serve again.

Such a simple little cookie, but very addictive. On a platter full of a variety of christmas cookies, I kept going back for more of these little gems. YUM!

Chocolate Cappuccino Cheesecake

I made this for Christmas Dinner. Although the flavor was fantastic, I had trouble cutting this cheesecake. It completely fell apart and the bottom crust was soggy. I followed the recipe exactly, and I'm not sure what I did wrong. I'm thankful I didn't have dinner guests.

Banana Oat Muffins

I've tried several banana oat muffin recipes now. This one is lighter, non-greasy and not too sweet. The oats add a nice texture. I added chopped walnuts. This recipe is a keeper.

Raspberry Truffles

The flavor is excellent, but I had trouble with the texture being too soft to hold a shape. The texture was more like a hot fudge sauce before it is heated (which is how I ended up using it - as a hot fudge ice cream topping). Try the recipe though - you may have better luck.

Paul's Pumpkin Bars

I wasn't sure how I should rate this one. This recipe is a pumpkin cake, not a "pumpkin bar". For that reason, I was dissappointed in the end result and decided to rate it 3 stars. Pour the batter into a 9x13 pan and you have a delicious pumpkin cake instead which is what I will do in the future. Note: for overall flavor as a cake recipe, I would give it 5-stars.

Chocolate Mice

I took this to a halloween party last year. WHAT A HOOT! The reactions were priceless! They do take time to make so plan accordingly. I made the tails with caramel and serve them w/ brown sprinkles for droppings. Very fun

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

I followed the recipe verbatim. The sauce was a little too sweet for me, but my husband and kids really enjoyed it. The meatloaf needs a little something to enhance the flavor. I'll keep this recipe and tweek it based on other reviewers comments.

Hearty Ham Casserole

I picked this recipe because I had the ingredients, otherwise I may not have tried it. It isn't fancy, but it was better than I expected! It is a good recipe to use up leftover ham. It would be great for brunch. I plan to make this one again. Minor adjustments: added minced garlic. & doubled the cheese.

Another WOW! Recipe. I made this for Christmas Dinner. Yes, it takes a little effort, but the final product is so incredibly delicious! If you plan to make beef tenderloin, you MUST try this recipe.

Herbed Pork and Apples

This recipe is a keeper! What a wonderful Autumn Treat! The rub is delicious, and I used it about 30 minutes before baking the roast. Yum! I didn't use the maple syrup, but the sauce was still wonderful.
