Kickin' Turkey Burger with Caramelized Onions and Spicy Sweet Mayo
'Liked this one & will make it again. Although I usually use allwhite, I used regular ground turkey this time. I made 6 patties & put them in the freezer for 20 minutes. Added 1/4t onion powder instead of fresh since when I've tried that trick before, the onions didn't cook as much as I'd like. Also added 1/4t salt, 2T plain breadcrumbs & about half cup shredded cheddar. 'Didn't have the steak seasoning or mesquite. 'Sounds good though! Before the tabasco, the flavor is subtle sweet w a little zing. Anyone thinking of trying should try the full amount of cayenne - unless you view black pepper as spicy. :) After adding about 6 drops tabasco, it was much better; but still not firebreathin'. :D ' Think I may use less honey next time. Oh, I used dijon since that's all I had. Thanks to anyone who submits ground turkey recipes!

How to Cook Turkey
Only a partial review, BUT the simple herb coating is FABULOUS! It coats the skin well enough that it doesn't burn or need covering; &, of course, tastes delicious! I combined recipes which basically means, I used olive oil on, & some butter in the turkey. Also put an apple inside - & a T of the seasonings. I used a cup of apple juice & a cup of water in the pan. Gravy was dark, but very good. When turkey time comes again, I'll follow the recipe better. :)

Upside Down Turkey
Turning over a hot turkey isn't the easiet job so be sure you don't get much bigger. I did 1/4c olive oil/butter blend inside & only olive oil on the outside. Used 1c water, 1c apple juice in the pan. Also 2T Kosher salt, 1T freshly ground black pepper, 1T poultry seasoning, 1/2T sage. Yummy coating & it didn't need covering.
