I didn't have celery or cream-style corn so along with the can of evaporated milk, I used a can of cream of celery soup and about a cup of skim milk. Couldn't bring myself to use all of the dill but next time I'll try it.

Colonial Pumpkin Bars

This is a good bar recipe. It holds up fine. I think the butter made it more cake like but that is good because sometimes the oil based bar recipes get too greasy. The pumpkim and spice flavor is mild so everyone is sure to like them.

Pretty good. I had leftover pizza sauce - one from this website, but realized too late that it wasn't enough. I used a 26oz jar of Hunt's tradition style spaghetti sauce. Everyone liked this.

Easy Pizza Sauce III

This is a very good recipe. Much better than any homemade pizza sauce I've had before. I substituted granulated garlic for the minced garlic. I will make sure to have it on hand next time! This makes a lot of sauce.

MMMMM... Brownies

Patty's Pasta Salad

I love this salad. I have made it several times varying the vegetables each time. I have even left out the ham and cheese and it's still great! I also use the colored rotini pasta.

Incredibly Easy Chicken and Noodles

Umph, I don't see where there are any corrections to this recipe and there are reviews indicating Tammy posted them. To get this thick you need to use frozen egg noodles (Reames) instead of dried. If you are simmering this on low, you should allow 45 minutes to an hour for the noodles to be done. I've been looking for a recipe like this that my mother made and this is it. (I think she only used 2 10.75 cans of soup-whatever was on hand, and 4 cups water with bouilion cubes).

Herb Roasted Pork Loin and Potatoes

I really liked the potatoes but the flavor of the roast was not anything special. My fiance did not like it at all. I did not have chives, so they were left out. I don't think I like them anyway.

Easy Caramelized Onion Pork Chops

Well, I didn't follow the recipe exactly. I made minor changes that I thought would enhance the flavor to my preference. So, my rating would be unfair because I didn't truly try this recipe. I used about a 1/4 cup white cooking wine and 1/2 cup water - also added 2 cloves of garlic to onions. I will not make this again. I had a hard time getting the water to evaporate, it took longer than an hour. It finally did but there wasn't any carmalized onion left..only mush.

Brussels Sprouts with Mushrooms

Very good! I really loved the presentation this dish made. Next time, I'll try this recipe using fresh parsely and real lemon. (I used dried parsely and lemon concentrate.) The mushrooms seemed too big to leave whole so, I cut into chunky slices, which turned out excellent! Thank you for sharing this recipe. 4/2/06 I made this again, this time I grilled this dish and used about 2 cloves of fresh garlic, canned mushrooms, no lemon juice, and seaoned with onion powder, salt and pepper.

Simple Potato Salad

I've made several batches of potato salad, recipes from this site and others. According to my fiance, this is the BEST I've ever made! That is only one reason I rated this 5 stars. Another reason it because it's so easy. I agree its laking seasoning, but I added salt and pepper and it's delicious. Thank you very much, Lisa!

Jan's Chocolate Cake

This is a very good chocolate cake. I had to cook it for at least 45 minutes. Don't worry if it seems too thin after mixing in the water. It turned out wonderful!!!

Best Cream of Potato Soup

I'm making this right now. I doubled the recipe because I wanted a big pot of soup. I also added a pound of smoked sausage cut into thin slices. After a small taste test, it seems rather spicy. I love spicy food but my kids may not like this. I also substitued minced dried onion and skim milk because that's what I had. Well, I everyone thought this was good. I give four stars because if I hadn't put in the smoked sausage I think this wouldn't have been so good.

Restaurant-Style Hashbrown Casserole

I used 1/3 cup of margarine instead of 1/2 cup. Maybe the reason it was so greasy is because I used margarine instead of butter. This dish was so greasy that when it first came from the oven, the greased drained right off the potatoes. Yuck, bad first impression. This did taste pretty good. Of course, I'm the only one in my family to like it. I don't think I'll make this again.

Baked Pork Chops I

This recipe is okay. I gave 4 stars because family didn't really like the gravy the soup mixture made. They said it would have been better with a crunchy outside.
